Some users, seeking to improve processing efficiency, begin feeding material under high pressure immediately after starting the equipment. This causes the suspension to strike the filter cloth’s pores instantly, with the impact force concentrated in the area of the pores, which can very easily lead to the filter cloth tearing or rupturing.

Raw material should be fed into the filter press with a gradual increase in pressure; do not operate at full pressure from the very beginning.

At the start of operation, feed the raw material at low pressure so that the filter chamber fills gradually, and then gradually increase the pressure depending on the progress of filtration. This effectively reduces the instantaneous impact in the area of the feed holes and extends the service life of the filter cloth.
